Key Points

In Week 15 (April 6–12, 2026), the number of emergency room visits and subsequent hospitalizations remained stable across all age groups.

In line with rising temperatures, there was an increase in visits across all age groups for insect bites (+88%, or +178 visits), hyperthermia and heatstroke (+200%, or +46 visits), and dehydration (+10%, or +36 visits).

Among children and adults, there has been an increase in visits for vomiting among those under 15 (+11%, or +191 visits) and gastroenteritis among adults (+8%, or +126 visits).

Among adults, there was an increase in visits for:

  • Pneumonia and ENT infections among those aged 75 and older (respectively +13% and +19%, or +342 and +27 visits).

  • Conjunctivitis and trauma among those aged 15–74 (respectively +11% and +8%, or +51 and +4,531 visits).

Among children, the circulation of chickenpox remains active and is increasing among those under 15 years of age (+21%, or +94 cases).
