The "Practical Guidance" section presents an analysis of perceptions regarding suicide, conducted during a seminar held in June 1999 at the initiative of the Interregional Directorate for Education and Health Promotion of the Central-West Region, focusing on the involvement of health education committees in regional health projects (PRS) addressing suicide. The factors to consider when selecting a methodology for implementing prevention programs on this topic are identified.
