"The expertise of peer mediators helps us connect with people on the street" [Interview].
In Marseille, a multidisciplinary team of twenty professionals—doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, an anthropologist, and peer mental health mediators—works directly with homeless individuals on the streets and coordinates a community-based care pathway; a reception center that refers individuals to key partners, offers shelter in a halfway house, and provides a mutual support group. Focus on the contribution of peer mental health mediators.
