Key Points

Mortality
The trend in mortality (all ages, 75 and older) over the past two weeks is consistent with the seasonal pattern typically observed during this period.

Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations
Activity related to emergency room visits by vulnerable populations (ages 75 and older and under 1 year) remains below alert thresholds and close to expected values.

Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No notable changes this week.

Chickenpox
According to the SOS Médecins associations, activity for chickenpox remains high, although it is down compared to last week and is now below the alert threshold.

Acute Gastroenteritis (AG) Both
nationally and regionally, the number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis in hospital emergency departments and private practices, after several weeks of decline, is stabilizing.

Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, since the resumption of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue on May 1 (see procedure on page 8), one imported case of dengue has been confirmed by the National Reference Center for Arboviruses.

Asthma
: The use of SOS Médecins and the emergency departments within the Oscour® network for asthma in Aquitaine has seen a slight increase (across all age groups). In France, an increase in activity is also being observed by these two sources.

Allergies
In Aquitaine, according to SOS Médecins and Oscour®, activity related to allergies is up compared to last week. Nationally, SOS Médecins activity for this condition is stable.

School
Absenteeism In S21, the overall school absenteeism rate remains stable.
