Ile-de-France Public Health Bulletin. April 2018.
Summary
In 2016, among children aged 24 months in the Île-de-France region: - vaccination coverage for the "DTP, pertussis, and Hib booster" was 95% or higher in all departments of the Île-de-France region, except in Paris.- The increase in the "hepatitis B 3-dose" vaccination coverage that began in 2006 across all departments in the region continued through 2016, except in Paris, where coverage has remained stable at 91% since 2014.- The regional "pneumococcal 3-dose" vaccination coverage is at the national average of 93%, with a stable or downward trend between 2014 and 2016 in departments 75, 78, 91, and 95. - The "MMR 2-dose" vaccination coverage is generally higher than the national average (85% vs. 80%), but insufficient to prevent any epidemic risk. - The "BCG" vaccination coverage was similar to that of the previous two years (84% and 86%), with regional disparities.
Between 2015 and 2017, "Meningococcal C" vaccination coverage in the Île-de-France region was far too low to ensure herd immunity, particularly among adolescents and young adults.
Regardless of birth cohort (1999–2001), HPV vaccination coverage (full series by age 16) is very low in the Île-de-France region as well as nationally, with at most one in five adolescent girls having completed the vaccination series.
According to data from the 2017 Health Barometer, there has been a very slight increase in vaccination uptake at the national level (78% of 18- to 75-year-olds compared to 75% in 2016), with uptake in the Île-de-France region being similar to that observed nationally.
