Highlights
In week 38, allergy-related activity at the SOS Médecins Strasbourg association remained stable compared to the previous week. The association’s doctors made 28 diagnoses, representing less than 2% of the total diagnoses in week 38. As for the SOS Médecin Mulhouse association, the number of allergy diagnoses was down slightly, with only 8 diagnoses made (representing 1% of the total diagnoses).
After a peak the previous week, asthma-related activity at both the SOS Médecins Strasbourg and Mulhouse associations decreased in week 38. Doctors at the Mulhouse association made 17 diagnoses (vs. 26 in week 37), representing 2.2% of total diagnoses. For the Strasbourg association, the number of diagnoses was 9 (vs. 15 in week 37), representing 0.6% of total diagnoses.
According to the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA), the allergy risk associated with grass pollen is very low in both Alsatian departments.
Based on available data, no unusual increase in mortality has been observed in Alsace over the past few weeks. Since the time lag for reporting death data exceeds 7 days, data for week 38 are currently being consolidated.
