Recordings of the webinar are available:

Nearly a year ago, Santé publique France signed a memorandum of understanding with the Secretariat of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) to establish and develop a Knowledge Center aimed at promoting the sharing of knowledge and expertise in the fields of communication, education, and training to better raise public awareness of issues related to tobacco control.

In this context, an initial webinar was held on June 1, 2023, in a hybrid format with simultaneous French-English translation. The aim was to highlight funding mechanisms for tobacco awareness initiatives and programs and to provide guidance on how to secure and structure them. Indeed, these programs are often costly, and the financial resources allocated are insufficient for their implementation or to ensure their sustainability.

This webinar brought together 66 participants from numerous countries: Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Lithuania, the United States, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Thailand, Canada, Serbia… A total of 24 countries were represented.
