Generating baseline data and making it accessible

Since the start of the epidemic, thanks to a broad network of field personnel and information systems built under exceptional conditions, Santé publique France teams have been working tirelessly to fulfill their missions regarding the consistency of the surveillance system, the collection and analysis of data in real time, and the provision of expert and reference information to everyone.

The Agency has made this a priority, resulting in the daily publication of more than 140 indicators that track the dynamics of the epidemic.

This priority comes with a responsibility: to provide verified, consolidated, and reliable indicators. This entails reporting in real time and with transparency in the event of developments or incidents—from detection, through impact assessment, to resolution.
