Contribution to university education
Santé publique France, Internship Site
Hosting public health and pharmacy residents
For residents in the Île-de-France region, Santé publique France has four positions available (3 under the former InVS, 1 under the former Inpes) for public health residents and one position for a pharmacy resident. In addition, Santé publique France can also host interns from other university hospitals. In the regions, the Regional Intervention Units (Cire) also serve as placement sites for interns. Job descriptions outlining the projects proposed by Santé publique France’s scientific departments that may host interns are sent each semester to the Association of Public Health Interns of Île-de-France (SPI) and the Union of Pharmacy Interns in Île-de-France Hospitals (SIPHIF) for publication on their websites. At the end of their semester-long internship, residents are required to present the results of their work at a scientific seminar.
