Epidemiological Situation

From December 17 to 30, 50 probable or biologically confirmed cases of dengue (including 20 in S51 and 30 in S52 (unconsolidated data)) reported based on the onset date of symptoms—19 cases in Rivière Saint Louis—7 cases in Les Avirons- 4 cases in Saint Louis and Ravine des Cabris - 1 case in Saint Pierre and Etang Salé - 3 cases in Saint-Leu, Bois de Nèfles, Saint-Paul, and Saline les Bains - 2 cases in La Possession and Piton Saint Leu - 1 case in Trois Bassins

Since the beginning of 2018, 6,763 biologically confirmed or probable cases of dengue (including 11 imported cases)

944 serotyping tests were performed on indigenous cases; only serotype 2 was detected
