Epidemiological Situation

• New dengue virus transmission hotspots in the west and south: - St Paul (Bois de Nèfles), St Gilles-les-Bains (Carrosse), St Pierre (Terre Rouge), and Le Port (Rivière des Galets)

• Known dengue virus transmission hotspots in the west and south remain active: - Saint-Paul/Downtown - Bus Station (39 cases in total since mid-November) - Saint-Pierre/Ravine des Cabris - Bois d'Olives (17 cases in total since late December)

• Since the beginning of the year, 61 cases of dengue have been reported. Following recent rains, mosquito activity continues, and a geographical spread of viral circulation is being observed.
