Influenza and flu-like illnesses: The epidemic has not yet taken hold in our region.
Bronchiolitis (in children under 2 years of age): The epidemic has not yet taken hold in our region, but the number of medical visits for bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age, as well as the circulation of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), are on the rise, following a trend similar to that of the same period in the previous two years.Bronchiolitis outbreaks typically begin in Occitanie between weeks 47 and 50, with the peak occurring during the Christmas holidays. During the 2015–2016 outbreak season, more than 3,000 emergency room visits for bronchiolitis were recorded in the region, resulting in over 1,300 hospitalizations.
Gastroenteritis: The epidemic has not yet taken hold in our region. However, cases are still being seen in clinics.
