Influenza Surveillance in Normandy. December 2021.

Key Points

In Normandy, activity related to flu-like symptoms remains low but is on the rise. Data collected from our network of partners enables surveillance based on a set of indicators: primary care (SOS Médecin), emergency department visits and hospitalizations (OSCOUR®), virology data from the laboratories at the Rouen and Caen university hospitals, reports of acute respiratory infections in long-term care facilities, and descriptions of severe cases in intensive care.
