COVID-19

  • In week 23, SARS-CoV-2 circulation in Normandy was on the rise, with an incidence rate (IR) of 328 per 100,000 inhabitants (+32%) and a positivity rate of 22.7% (+4.8 percentage points). This increase in the IR was observed across all departments in Normandy and for all age groups.

  • In the pre-hospital setting, emergency department activity for suspected COVID-19 remained stable, but the number of interventions by SOS Médecins associations was on the rise.

  • The number of new hospital admissions across all departments and in critical care units was increasing. The number of deaths was rising in hospitals, while there were none in long-term care facilities.
