Influenza Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of May 3, 2019.

Summary of the Epidemiological Situation

In Martinique, indicators of influenza activity have been declining for three weeks and have returned to baseline levels.
From the start of the epidemic (mid-January) through April 28, 2019, 15,560 people consulted a general practitioner for flu-like symptoms; 13 severe cases were reported, four of which resulted in death. Virus A was identified in the vast majority of cases in both hospitals and private practices.
