SOS Médecins National Newsletter, June 22, 2010

Over the past week, the total volume of activity at SOS Médecins clinics has remained stable compared to the previous week across all age groups and in all geographic areas.

Calls related to direct effects of the heat are at a very low level.

The number of calls for the "malaise" and "fever" indicators remained stable across all age groups, except for children aged 2–14, among whom there was an increase in fever diagnoses over the past week (graph not shown).

The "allergies" indicator is down compared to last week.

"Insect bites," which rose sharply on Sunday, June 6, subsequently decreased and have remained at a very low level over the past few days.

The number of deaths certified by the SOS Médecins associations is similar to that of the previous week.
