  • SOS Médecins: 740 suspected COVID-19 cases per 10,000 consultations (S18, 932 in S17)

  • Sentinelles Network: 76 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants (W18, 30 in W17)

  • LABM (3 labs): 4% positive tests (S18, 6% in S17)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • The number of cases has been decreasing in recent weeks

  • The majority of cases and deaths are reported in nursing homes

Hospital surveillance

  • Oscour® Network: 695 suspected COVID-19 cases per 10,000 visits (Week 18, 884 in Week 17)

  • Hospital laboratories: 4% of tests positive (Week 18, 10% in Week 17)

  • SI-VIC: 1,113 people hospitalized, including 135 in intensive care as of May 5, 2020

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 61% of cases aged 65 and older, and 85% with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • Excess mortality detected since week 12, peaking in week 14
