- These cases were primarily from the island of Réunion, where a chikungunya outbreak was underway during that same period.
- No locally acquired cases were reported in the region.
- By the end of 2025, only two departments in the region were considered to be colonized by Aedes albopictus (commonly known as the tiger mosquito), the Aisne and the Oise, with the municipalities of Laon and Le-Mesnil-en-Thelle affected, respectively (0.46% of the total population).
