Acute Respiratory Infections

  • SOS Médecins: The number of visits for lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI) decreased in week 05-2024 compared to the previous week.

  • Oscour®: visits for lower respiratory tract infections were down compared to the previous week, while hospitalizations following visits for this diagnosis were up.

Bronchiolitis

  • SOS Médecins: Procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were down compared to the previous week.

  • Oscour®: visits and hospitalizations for a diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age remained stable over the past few weeks.

Influenza

  • In week 05-2024, the Occitanie region entered its 8th epidemic week.

  • Syndromic indicators show a slight decrease or stability in outpatient care, while they continue to rise slightly in inpatient care.

  • All twelve regions of mainland France are in the epidemic phase.

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: procedures for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases were down compared to the previous week.

  • Oscour®: Consultations for suspected COVID-19 were down compared to the previous week.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • SOS Médecins: The incidence rate of acute diarrhea cases seen in general practice for week 05-2024 was lower than in previous weeks.

  • Oscour®: Gastroenteritis activity was low during the week.
