Key Points

COVID-19

  • Significant increase in epidemic activity at the regional level (+69%) and below (rise in TI, TP, and TD in the 5 departments);

  • Deterioration in virological indicators affecting all age groups, with the under-15s being hit hardest;

  • Slight increase in week 37 in consultations for suspected COVID-19 (SOS Médecins and SAU) and acute respiratory infections (Sentinel Network);

  • In hospitals, a slight increase in new admissions for routine hospitalizations;

  • Slight increase in vaccination coverage among the most vulnerable (over 60 years old) eligible for the second booster.

Asthma

  • Usual increase in asthma-related care in outpatient settings and hospitals (emergency departments and hospitalizations)

Monkeypox

  • 191 confirmed cases reported in Hauts-de-France

  • 2% of cases were hospitalized following infection with the Monkeypox virus, and no deaths have been reported in the region
