Sentinelles Network: downward trend with 71 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants in week 2020-17 (82 in week 2020-16)
SOS Médecins: downward trend with 606 COVID-19 cases per 10,000 procedures in week 2020-17 (839 in week 2020-16)
LABM (3 labs): downward trend with 8% positive tests in week 2020-17 (17% in week 2020-16)
Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
6,293 cases of COVID-19 among residents, including 532 deaths in the facility and 415 in the hospital, reported through April 27.
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® network: downward trend with 593 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 visits in week 2020-17 (814 in week 2020-16)
Hospital laboratories: downward trend with 14% of tests positive in week 2020-17 (19% in week 2020-16)
Monitoring of severe cases
Sentinel intensive care units: 423 severe COVID-19 cases reported by intensive care units, of which 51% were aged 65 and older, and 78% had at least one underlying medical condition.
Mortality surveillance
Since mid-March, excess all-cause mortality has been observed at the regional level, with a peak observed in late March–early April.
