COVID-19

  • In Week 26, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, SOS Médecins calls for suspected COVID-19 cases were down, emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19 cases remained stable, as did the number of deaths reported via the CepiDC electronic certification system.

  • Additionally, three cases of acute respiratory infection (with a COVID-19 etiology) in long-term care facilities were reported in the Centre-Val de Loire region, two in assisted living facilities and one in a nursing home.

  • Hospital emergency departments: moderate activity, on the rise

  • Incidence of acute diarrhea: on the rise

  • Chickenpox: activity rising at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.

  • Allergies: activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

  • Asthma (ages 2–14): activity decreasing at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

  • Heat-related illnesses: activity stable at SOS Médecins, decreasing in hospital emergency departments.
