COVID-19

  • In Week 49, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 appears to be slowing in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Virological indicators (calculated based on antigen tests alone) were stable, while hospitalizations continued to rise. However, new admissions to intensive care were declining.

  • Positivity rate (PR) and incidence rate (IR) from antigen tests remained stable.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since Week 24; the proportion of the new BQ1.1 sublineage among sequenced tests has increased.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity is decreasing at SOS Médecins and increasing in hospital emergency departments.

Bronchiolitis

  • 9th week of the epidemic: activity decreasing at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • 2nd week of the epidemic: activity is increasing at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.
