The word "nature" encompasses a wide range of interpretations

What is nature? Although widely used in everyday language, the term has a more complex meaning than it appears at first glance, one that also depends on cultural systems of thought. Western scientists prefer to speak of biodiversity, a more precise and quantifiable concept. An increasing number of studies are attempting to shed light on the links between nature and human health.
