Summary
In week 49, overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased across all age groups except for children under two years of age.
Consultations for influenza/influenza-like illness continue to rise sharply across all age groups (+72%) compared to the previous week, with influenza-related activity exceeding that of the past two years. The onset of the epidemic has been reported in Brittany and Île-de-France.
Consultations for bronchiolitis are showing a moderate decline, with the epidemic now widespread across the entire mainland, with the exception of Corsica.
Among those over 15 years of age, consultations for upper respiratory tract conditions, pneumonia, and bronchitis are on the rise, with a proportion of coded activity higher than in the previous two years.
Consultations for gastroenteritis are on the rise across all age groups, with the proportion of cases remaining higher than in the previous two years.
