LaboVIH Survey: In 2019, testing rates increased and the positivity rate remained stable.
DO: The characteristics of individuals newly diagnosed with HIV changed little in 2019; the most common mode of transmission was heterosexual intercourse.
Bacterial STIs (ResIST surveillance)
Early-stage syphilis: In 2019, the proportion of primary and secondary cases increased among heterosexual men and women, and the age of affected women decreased; two cases of congenital syphilis were reported.
Gonococcal infections: the number of cases reported in 2019 remained stable compared to 2018.
Impact of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic
A decrease in HIV and bacterial STI testing was observed in March and April 2020 according to SNDS data.
