The Local Health Contract: A Tool for Reducing Social and Regional Health Inequalities.

Two teams of French researchers have thoroughly examined two Local Health Contracts in the Midi-Pyrénées region. In doing so, they have identified, in very concrete terms, the challenges and opportunities for action associated with this type of contract. While these contracts can indeed enable adjustments tailored closely to local needs, achieving alignment among the various stakeholders (Regional Health Agency, municipalities, etc.) remains a significant challenge.
