Mortality
During the month of June, the number of recorded deaths (all ages, 75 and older) remained at levels typically observed during this season.

Emergency department visits by vulnerable populations
No significant changes to report regarding emergency department visits by vulnerable populations (75 years and older and under 1 year of age).

Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No notable changes this week.

Chickenpox
According to the SOS Médecins associations, chickenpox activity has been on the rise since last week, with figures above the alert threshold.

Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) Both
nationally and regionally, the number of AGE-related visits to hospital emergency departments and private practices is low, in line with expected levels for this time of year.

Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, since the resumption of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue, one imported case of dengue has been confirmed by the National Reference Center for Arboviruses.

Asthma and allergies
In Aquitaine, as in France, asthma activity is stable, and emergency department visits for allergies continue to rise, comparable to data observed during the same period last year.

Heat-related illnesses
Visits to emergency departments and calls to SOS Médecins for heat-related illnesses are rising sharply in France and in Aquitaine. The current level is significantly higher than that of the previous year.

Viral
meningitis Since S22, there has been an increase in the number of enterovirus isolates at the Bordeaux University Hospital, consistent with the number of enterovirus meningitis cases reported by the Oscour® network. Nationally, the current trend according to Oscour® is consistent with 2012 and 2011.

Jellyfish stings (indicator not detailed in the body of the document)
Since week 27, jellyfish have been detected along the Landes coast, with a few cases of stings, none of which were serious. The Regional Health Agency (ARS) has issued a public warning via the media.
