Mortality
: Deaths recorded based on vital statistics data follow the usual seasonal pattern, with numbers comparable to those observed in previous years.
Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations
No significant changes in emergency room visits for children under 1 year of age and adults aged 75 and older.
Reportable Diseases (MDO)
Note the persistently high incidence of IIM in the region, particularly in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. One case reported in October.
Enterovirus
meningitis Circulation of the virus in Aquitaine according to Oscour® and the virology department at the Bordeaux University Hospital.
Acute gastroenteritis (AGE)
In Aquitaine, as in France, AGE activity in hospital emergency departments and primary care remains stable, with low case numbers similar to previous years.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Influenza activity is stable compared to the previous week.
Bronchiolitis
In Aquitaine, as in France, bronchiolitis activity continues its upward trend according to SOS Médecins and remains stable or slightly increased according to Oscour®. 19 children were treated during the first on-call weekend of the AquiRespi network.
Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, since the resumption of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue, two imported cases of dengue have been confirmed by the CNR for arboviruses.
Mushroom poisoning
Since July 1, there have been 60 cases of poisoning reported by CAPTV and 16 by the Oscour® network in Aquitaine (798 and 281 nationwide, respectively).
Carbon monoxide poisoning
Resumption of the biweekly publication of national and regional reports during the heating season (October to March); since September 2013, 74 reports nationwide (147 people transported to emergency rooms).
