In week 06: - Flu-related hospitalizations remain high and exceed those recorded during the peak of the epidemic in the previous three seasons; - The number of emergency department visits by people aged 75 and older for pneumonia, dyspnea/respiratory failure, and cardiac decompensation remains high.

Furthermore, excess mortality from all causes was observed in the region during weeks 02, 03, and 04. Developments in week 05 and the consolidation of data from previous weeks will be monitored with particular attention, as a further increase in the number of deaths cannot be ruled out.
