Projections of Trends in Mortality from Pleural Mesothelioma in France. The French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) and the Center for Epidemiology of Medical Causes of Death (CépiDc) at Inserm have published the results of a model projecting trends in mortality from pleural mesothelioma in France. Based on the most recent French data, this study updates the forecasts from the late 1990s, which predicted a peak of 1,000 to 1,500 deaths per year around 2020–2030.
