Despite the continued increase in SARS-CoV-2 detection in wastewater since mid-July in the region (as in France), the circulation of the virus has not had a significant impact on the healthcare system.

• A slight increase in the proportion of suspected COVID-19 cases this week: 0.3% of emergency room visits and 1.7% of SOS Médecins calls, corresponding to 37 (vs. 94 and 84 for the same week in the past two years) and 43 cases (vs. 114 and 58) treated, respectively.

• Indicators for heat-related illnesses are at low levels

• No unusual increase in all-cause activity among SOS Médecins associations and emergency services. Activity remains at levels observed during the same period in the two previous summer seasons
