Key Points
In Week 34 (August 17–23, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable across all age groups, except among children under 2 years of age, where the decline observed over the past two weeks continued (-6%, or -202 visits).
Among children, most indicators were stable or declining. However, there was an increase in visits among children under 2 years of age for isolated fever (+8%, or +18 visits) and among 2- to 14-year-olds for acute abdominal pain (+25%, or +60 visits) and impetigo (+11%, or +79 visits).
Among adults, there was an increase in respiratory indicators across all age groups for asthma (+24%, or +98 visits) and bronchitis (+12%, or +184 visits).
Among other conditions, there was also an increase in indicators for:
- malaise (+18%, or +39 visits), isolated fever (+17%, or +50 visits), and gastroenteritis (+6%, or +159 visits),
- infectious conjunctivitis (+96%, or +26 visits) among those over 75,
- depressive state (+29%, or +20 visits) among those aged 45–64, and anxiety (+17%, or +32 visits) among those over 75.
